Generic name of this drug is Betamethasone Valerate. It is sold under various names like Beta Val, Valisone, Celestoderm V/2, Metaderm Mild, Celestoderm V, Betnovate etc.

Celestoderm-V is a Corticosteroid. Betamethasone topical is used to treat swelling, itching, redness or lots of other discomforts that are caused by skin conditions. Betamethasone foam is also used to cure scalp problems.
