Cefdinir is marketed under a brand name called as Omnicef.

This drug is used to cure mild to moderate infections that are caused by some specific bacteria. Cefdinir acts by killing sensitive bacteria. It is a cephalosporin antibiotic.

Side effects of medicines are general problems. These disappear within some days, but if they do not, report to your doctor without delay. It is seen that the response of two individuals to a particular drug cannot be similar. So, Cefdinir should be used by only those people for whom it is recommended.
