Generic name of Centussin DHC is Dihydrocodeine Bitartrate, Brompheniramine Maleate & Phenylephrine Hydrochloride.

Phenylephrine /Brompheniramine /Dihydrocodeine Liquid is a combination of decongestant, antihistamine & cough suppressant. The decongestant acts by shrinking blood vessels & decreasing swelling in our nasal passages. The antihistamine acts by preventing the action of a natural chemical known as histamine that reduces signs of sneezing and watery eyes.

The cough suppressant acts in our brain to help reduce the cough reflex to get relief from dry cough.
