Generic name of this medicine is Ethinyl Estradiol & Desogestrel. Ethinyl estradiol & desogestrel is marketed under some brand names such as Caziant, Cyclessa, Velivet, Cesia etc.
Caziant is the combination of female hormones that halt the release of an egg from an ovary (ovulation). This medicine brings about some changes in uterine lining & cervical mucus, making it difficult for a sperm to reach the uterus & difficult for a fertilized egg to attach to the uterus.
Ethinyl estradiol & desogestrel are used as contraception to stop pregnancy.

Caziant Overdose Side Effects (Require Immediate Medical Attention)-
