The society thrives on support and good gestures; we proffer mannered remorse for our action but an individual with a sociopathic personality will never feel any empathy or remorse for his actions, they might apologize in exceptional situations but only for the purpose of saving face, not really because they actually feel any guilt or shame for their crooked actions.

Sociopaths tend to be having an immensely charming personality that helps them while leaving a long-lasting impression after their first meeting. However, their charm and care are short-lived until they really get what they want, money, sex, or emotional support. Once they achieved what they wanted, they will cherry-pick you out of their lives. Charming personality in the possession of a sociopathic individual is a curse for the society.

Sociopaths are extremely intelligent and incredibly witty. They have the ability to talk about anything while still having a fair amount of knowledge about every subject or topic you talk to them about. However, rather than using their intelligence for the betterment of society, they utilize their skills to manipulate and outsmart their partner or friends.

No matter how much we hate liars and lying, all of us try out hand at this crooked practice. Lying in the case of a normal individual is followed by the feeling of guilt and remorse. However, when a sociopath lies, he does not feel any doubt or flinching while doing so. Their lying experience is not followed by guilt, rather it is followed by the feeling of victory and achievement, as they feel satisfied with being able to pull off a lie successfully. A normal person will feel great discomfort while even remotely trying to control another person. However, a sociopath would happily control other people for their advantages, they are equipped with special techniques that they use while trying to take control of the situation.

Everybody should be able to feel good about themselves, and a bit of self-confidence never hurts anybody. Although, a sociopath would feel a massive amount of self-love and they are shamelessly charged with narcissism and self-worship. Narcissistic personality traits are commonly found in sociopaths, they want to be treated as the royal, his highness and they can’t bear any compromises in taking care of their own ego or self-interest.

Trait 7: Hate commitment and relationships

Where a normal person looks for a true companion that will stay with them till eternity, sociopaths experience great difficulty in maintaining relationships. They feel suffocated and caged in a protected relationship and they can’t bear the idea of commitment and monogamy. A sociopath would cheat repeatedly as they believe that they deserve better and staying committed to a single person would be a waste of their time.

Sociopaths love to break the mold of rule and order, and they have a constant knack for trying out new things while discarding any limitations of parents, partners, or even law enforcement. They feel no doubts while taking a risk and they don’t want to be caged in constraints of responsibilities. A sociopath can take highly repulsive actions without think of the consequences for immediate attainment of thrill and excitement.

Humans are hardcoded to feel love, it’s a natural emotion that none of us can run away from. However, a sociopath does not feel any real love for anybody but himself. They don’t care how much the other person is doing in trying to make them happy, they are extremely selfish and they feel that they deserve all the love they can get but do not feel the compulsion of repaying back any of the love that they have achieved.


Trait 10: Unbelievably competitive

There is no harm in being competitive and trying to do better than your peers, but there is a certain degree to which you can stretch the argument in your favor on the basis of competitiveness. Beyond that degree, they are the ethics of humanity and the rules of a harmonious society. A sociopath is a practically ethical blind and a sociopathic individual will go to any length to overtake their competition. They have a strong disregard towards losing and they are immensely disgusted by the tiniest thought of losing. They won’t take beatings even in the most diminutives of arguments and they would not stop until they win.
