  • Fat Melting: This process utilizes deoxycholic acid – a chemical that naturally occurs in the body and responsible for the emulsification of dietary fat. The chemical is generally injected into small areas to remove fat.
  • Chemical Peel: This is a process of removing off dead skin cells from its top layer using chemicals like glycolic acid, lactic acid, and trichloroacetic acid. In high concentrations, these chemicals tighten the skin as a result of collagen formation. This method helps reduce sun damage, discoloration, fine line and scars. While in lower concentration, it just causes skin redness; it takes several weeks to heal when the concentration of acid is kept high. The impact of the treatment in terms of longevity solely depends on the concentration of the acid used.
