Psychological Changes:
When a person ages, lots of emotional changes are observed. Lack of independence and inability to perform day-to-day tasks along with memory loss and reduced vision bring considerable psychological changes among elderly. Sometimes, negative emotions or negligence result in depression and other mental health problems. This directly affects our physiology and may lead to various health conditions, such as high blood pressure, inadequate sleep, hormonal imbalances and Alzheimer’s disease. Psychological aspect is as important as physical aspects of aging because the former has a direct link to the latter.
