How Safe Is Flovent Diskus 100 for Pregnant Women or Nursing Mothers?

Fluticasone has not been assigned into any category in the U.S. FDA pregnancy category. Asthmatic pregnant women should be monitored closely in order to prevent an asthma attack. Neonates  can develop hypoadrenalism if they are exposed to glucocorticoids and therefore need careful supervision.
