Dr. Joshua Hurwitz, MD, Reproductive Endocrinologist

Dr. Joshua Hurwitz is one of the renowned reproductive endocrinologists and is a partner at Reproductive Medicine Associates of Connecticut (RMACT). He is board certified in both Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility and Obstetrics & Gynecology. He is also the division director of the Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility services at the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Science at Danbury Hospital.

With his position as the division director, he is responsible for developing and organizing the academic programs, giving lectures, teaching residents, as well as caring for infertility patients. He started his practice in 2006. His research interests include reproductive surgeries, premature ovarian failure, embryo donations, etc.

Over the years, he has published various articles, abstracts, and various book chapters on reproductive hormones, reproductive aging, ultrasound, bioethics, and in vitro fertilization (IVF). Also, he is a fellow of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and a member of Society of Reproductive Endocrinologists.
