Generic name of this medicine is Ferrous Fumarate/ Folic Acid/ B complex/ Vitamin C/ Minerals.

Centratex is used to cure low-levels of folate or iron in the blood.

Centratex is a combination of vitamin, iron, mineral & folic acid.  It fulfills the requirement of vitamins, minerals, folic acid & iron body does not synthesize enough of its own.

Well, if you have an odd feeling after swallowing an enormous amount of this drug, you must call your PCC (poison control board) or emergency room right away.

Symptoms are as follows-

• Seizures
• Tarry stools
• Fast or erratic heartbeat
• Fever
• Severe nausea
• Trouble breathing
• Stomach pain
• Coma
• Vomiting
• Unusual tiredness

Note: Keep centratex out of the reach of children.

Centratex Drug Interaction Side Effects (Due to Reaction with Other drugs)-

Drug interaction occurs when the result of a particular drug is changed when it is taken in combination with a different drug, tobacco, alcohol or with another food results in unwanted effects. Notify your doctor if you are having-

• Fluorouracil

Risk of Fluorouracil’s adverse effects may be increased by Centratex-

• Doxycycline
• Hydantoins (such as- phenytoin)
• Penicillamine
• Thyroid hormones (such as- levothyroxine)

Effectiveness of these above listed medicines may be reduced by Centratex.

Centratex Prolonged Use Side Effects (When Used for Longer Periods)-
