Generic name of this drug is Conjugated Estrogens. It is available under some brand names like Premarin, Cenestin, Enjuvia.

Estrogen is produced by the ovaries. It is a female sex hormone. Conjugated estrogens is basically a mixture of estrogen hormones that are used to cure the signs of menopause like-

• Burning

• Vaginal dryness

• Hot flashes

• Irritation

It is also used to diagnose osteoporosis in postmenopausal women & replacement of estrogen in women who have an ovarian failure or some other conditions that cause a lack of natural female hormone “estrogen” in our body.  Conjugated estrogens are also used as part of cancer treatment in both men & women.
